How do you get Dynamo Dresden tickets?
Dynamo Dresden tickets are available on the primary market and on the secondary market. If a home match is not yet sold out, you can purchase your tickets directly from the club. If the upcoming matches are already sold out, you can only buy tickets on the secondary market. Other fans resell their Dynamo Dresden tickets because they can’t come to the match themselves.
The SG’s first market as an official option
We recommend that you buy Dynamo Dresden tickets exclusively through the club. You have various options. The most convenient way to buy is via the online shop. Here you can find tickets for upcoming matches. Registration is required in advance so that the purchase can be processed. This is free of charge and you only need a valid e-mail address.
If you don’t want to buy your Dynamo tickets online, you can visit the fan shop at the stadium. Tickets are on sale here on Mondays and Tuesdays between 10am and 6pm. You can also call the ticket hotline on +49 351 85033717. Here you can only pay by credit card.
Alternatively, you can also purchase tickets via the official advance booking network. There are numerous authorised sellers from Bautzen to Zittau. You can find a detailed list on the Dynamo Dresden website. Please note, however, that tickets are 10% more expensive. This is due to the official advance booking fees charged by the dealers.
If the match is not already sold out, you can also visit the box office at the stadium. There is no additional charge here. However, you must expect waiting times and cannot use your ticket as a ticket for public transport.
The secondary market for Dynamo Dresden tickets: What you need to know

Dynamo Dresden operates an official secondary market. Tickets can be sold here from fans to fans. The big advantage for buyers: prices are regulated and there is no risk of fraud. The disadvantage for sellers: the ticket exchange is only activated when at least 25,000 tickets have been sold to home fans. As a regulated secondary market is available for sold-out Dynamo Dresden matches, it is better to stay away from third-party sellers. Not only are counterfeit tickets in circulation here. The prices can also be significantly higher than the original value when demand is high.
4 important points to consider on the Dynamo Dresden secondary market:
- Sales platform: Dynamo Dresden provides an official secondary market when at least 25,000 tickets have been sold to home fans. You can then also buy tickets from other fans. Purchasing tickets via other sales platforms is not recommended.
- Ticket price: Tickets are always sold at the original price via the official secondary market. This gives you the great advantage that sellers cannot charge extortionate prices. Even when demand is high, no individual prices can be set. The situation is of course different for third-party sellers. Here, the resale price can be chosen at will.
- Authenticity: With Dynamo Dresden tickets from the official secondary market, you are guaranteed to get into the stadium. The guarantee of authenticity is a major advantage for private buyers. On the other hand, counterfeit tickets are often in circulation on third-party platforms. This also applies to tickets sold directly in front of the stadium.
- Ticket conditions: According to the club’s general terms and conditions, tickets may only be resold via the official secondary market. If tickets are purchased via third-party platforms, there is a risk that you will not be allowed into the stadium.
We work with the following providers on the secondary market:
Day ticket or annual pass – what types of tickets are available at Dynamo Dresden?
When choosing Dynamo Dresden tickets, you can choose between single and season tickets. In both categories, fans can choose between seats and standing room. There are four seating categories in total. The higher the category, the better the view of the match. Standing room, on the other hand, is only available for the north stand. Up to 9,000 fans can be seated here.
There are also discounted tickets for certain groups of people. Pupils, trainees, students, ALG II recipients, pensioners and people with disabilities receive discounts on all tickets. The “Child” ticket category is available for children between the ages of 6 and 15. There are further special discounts here. Children under the age of 6 may enter the stadium free of charge and do not require their own ticket. However, they are not entitled to a seat.
The Sparkassen family block in sectors D1 to D4 is specially designed for younger visitors. A maximum of two adults and several children up to and including the age of 15 can book this ticket category per family. Tickets for the Sparkassen family block are available in the online ticket shop, at the stadium and at all advance booking offices.
Referees may attend Dynamo Dresden matches free of charge. A certain number of tickets will be issued in the West Stand on presentation of the referee’s ID card. The referee box office is located at the Blüherstraße entrance.
Pricing of Dynamo Dresden tickets: A brief overview
Pricing at Dynamo Dresden depends on two aspects. Firstly, it depends on the opponent. Prices are higher for a top match than for a clash against a relegation candidate. The prices are dynamic and vary from match to match. Of course, the cost also depends on the seat in the stadium. There are five categories here.
Standing tickets are the cheapest. A ticket in the north stand costs less than 20 euros. For a seat in the centre of the main stand, on the other hand, you can expect to pay up to 50 euros.
Concession holders can enjoy a discount of up to 5 euros. There is a discount of up to 10 euros for children. Special prices apply to the family area. Adult tickets cost between 22 and 26 euros and children’s tickets between 8 and 12 euros.

Unique moments: Dynamo Dresden in the DFB Cup
Dynamo Dresden celebrated its greatest success in the DFB Cup in the 1993/94 season. Back then, the team marched all the way to the semi-finals before being beaten by Werder Bremen. Since then, there hasn’t been much for Dresden fans to celebrate. Since the 2016/17 season, the 2nd cup round at the latest has been the end of the line.
There have been particularly bitter defeats such as the narrow 0:1 against VfB Stuttgart this year. But Dynamo have also been beaten by supposed underdogs such as SV Rödinghausen. Nevertheless, all fans are looking forward to when the ball finally rolls again in the DFB Cup. After all, Dresden has by no means given up hope of a sensation.
As a true fan, you can’t afford to miss a cup match. Because whether you win or lose, the passionate fans are always guaranteed the best atmosphere and an unusual choreography.
Dynamo Dresden tickets for people with disabilities
Tickets for wheelchair users can be purchased via the conventional advance booking system. If the quota is not sold out, tickets will be sold on match day at the barrier-free entrance on the west side. It is important to note that tickets for people with disabilities are only issued from a degree of 70%. Otherwise, the conventional reduced-price tickets must be used. An accompanying person is always included in the price for wheelchair users and people with severe disabilities.
