With the right AS Roma tickets, you can be particularly close to the stars on the pitch and finally experience the unique atmosphere in the stadium live. The first market should always be your first port of call when looking for tickets. However, the top matches sell out quickly. Then the only option is to look at the secondary market. Here you can secure remaining tickets, which are resold by fans to fans.
The first market is the official ticket sale directly through the club. It is advisable to buy your AS Roma tickets directly online. The ticket shop can be accessed at any time and you will find all upcoming home matches for which tickets are currently still available.
You need an account to be able to purchase tickets via the online shop. Registration is free of charge. All you need is a valid e-mail address and a telephone number. When purchasing, you can select your seats using an interactive stadium map. You then have to enter various details such as your date of birth and gender.
The AS Roma tickets are then reserved for you for 20 minutes. Payment can be made by credit card, Klarna or PayPal. After purchase, you will receive your tickets by email. Alternatively, tickets can also be reserved via the service hotline 39 (0)68 938 6000 or by e-mail at [email protected]. Both telephone and written enquiries can only be made in English or Italian.
You can also spontaneously visit the official ticket shop at Via Appia Nuova 130 directly in Rome. There are also other official sales partners in the city. You can find a list on the club’s website.
Top games or international matches are often sold out within a very short time. Your only option then is to look for AS Roma tickets on the secondary market. The club has an official secondary market, but it does have some restrictions. Tickets cannot be offered for sale here, but can only be re-personalised.
You must therefore contact a fan who has already purchased tickets in advance. They can then send you the tickets via the official channels. This guarantees that you have access to the stadium and that the tickets are genuine. However, you need to be careful when reselling tickets via third-party portals. Pay particular attention to the original price.
We work with the following providers on the secondary market:
Day tickets are usually the best choice for fans from Germany. Then you can combine your stay in Rome with a visit to the stadium and experience the action of Serie A live in one of the biggest stadiums in the league. In total, there are more than 20 different categories if you want to buy AS Roma tickets.
You’ll have the best view of the action in the following seating categories:
In the two corners, you also have to pay special attention to whether you want to sit in the upper or lower tier. The closer you are to the action, the more expensive AS Roma tickets naturally become.
Of course, season tickets are also available for each season. However, 40,000 are sold out in no time at all. You therefore have to put your name on a waiting list in advance. The season tickets are then issued before the start of the season. You can choose between classic season tickets and season tickets with access to cup matches.
AS Roma also offers special family tickets. You must buy at least one ticket for an adult and one ticket for a child. There are special offers for families in certain sectors.
All 24 ticket categories have their own prices. The cheapest tickets can be found in the upper tier of the Curva Nord and Curva Sud. The price per ticket is just €36. Otherwise, AS Roma tickets cost between €60 and €90. In some sectors, there are special discounts for people under the age of 18. If the discounts apply, you will find a separate note in the ticket category.
You will find particularly good value for money in the “Tevera Parterre Nord”, “Tevera Parterre Centrale” and “Tevera Parterre Sud” sectors. A ticket costs 55 and 60 euros respectively. In return, you are particularly close to the action. Especially in the upper tier, you can usually still find remaining tickets when the game is almost sold out.
Compared to other clubs in Serie A, the prices at AS Roma are in the midfield. So you don’t have to dig particularly deep into your pockets to experience the live action at a home game.
Ticket sales for home matches usually begin three to four weeks before the match. However, exact sale dates are only published as soon as the match has been fixed. For European duels and cup matches, there is usually a protected pre-sale for season ticket holders and members. Some top matches in the league, such as the derby against Lazio, also start with a protected sale.
It may therefore make sense for you to opt for an AS Roma membership. For 30 euros, you will receive a UTR Membership Card and can then take part in the protected pre-sale.
As 40,000 season tickets have already been allocated, the stadium is already full at the start of every pre-sale. So if you are not a member, you need to be quick. The best way to make sure you don’t miss any sales dates is to subscribe to the newsletter.
At the Olimpico, there is of course also the option of buying AS Roma tickets in the hospitality area. The cheapest prices here start at around 300 euros. The most expensive VIP tickets cost 450 euros. The price depends primarily on the seat and the respective box. There are a total of nine different boxes of different sizes. A delicious buffet, a comprehensive drinks menu and fast-track access to the stadium are always included.
Some boxes also have their own cocktail bar and finger food buffet. There are also special private suites. These can be booked for a four-figure sum, but are usually sold out long in advance.
AS Roma have already won the Coppa Italia nine times. However, another success is long overdue. The last cup title was won during the 2007/08 season. Naturally, the fans are full of hope that this season could finally bring another title.
The good atmosphere in the Olimpico is particularly noticeable during the Coppa Italia. When it comes to advancing to the next round, the fans want to carry their team to victory once again.
AS Roma celebrated its first international title by winning the UEFA Conference League in the 2021/22 season. A moment for the history books that all fans will remember for many years to come. The team narrowly missed out on its next historic success in the 2022/23 season.
AS Roma were defeated by Sevilla FC in the UEFA Europa League final. The decision was only made in a penalty shoot-out. The fact that the club’s more recent history has been characterised by success is also shown by the fact that it reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in the 2017/18 season, where AS Roma was beaten by Liverpool FC.
The club offers a comprehensive concept for people with disabilities. In addition to barrier-free seats directly on the edge of the pitch, there is also a support and shuttle service. Blind fans can also use headsets with live transmission.
Tickets cannot be reserved via the online shop. An e-mail must be sent in advance to [email protected]. Alternatively, you can also call the service hotline on +39 (0) 351 848 4045. Foreign fans must have their disability card translated into Italian in advance.
With over 70,000 seats, the Olimpico is the second largest stadium in Serie A. A special feature is that rivals AS Roma and Lazio Rome share the stadium. This means that the stadium hosts a very special derby four times a season.
Finally, we have collected the most important information for your journey to the Olimpico:
Travelling by car: In Rome’s traffic chaos, you shouldn’t travel to the stadium by car yourself. If you do consider travelling by car, a parking ticket must be purchased in advance via the club’s website. Arrive in good time so that you can avoid long traffic jams.
Travelling by public transport: You can only get to the stadium directly by bus. We recommend travelling on line 32, which stops at the Ottaviano-San Pietro stop, for example, and allows you to change from metro line A.
Travelling from the airport: From Rome Fiumicino airport, take the MySafePlace shuttle to Piazza Del Risorgimento. From there, you can take bus line 32 directly to the stadium.
AS Roma was founded on 22 July 1927.
AS Roma’s club colours are red and yellow.
AS Roma plays its home matches at the Stadio Olimpico.
AS Roma’s main rivals are Lazio Roma and Juventus Turin.
