To be able to order tickets, you must register on the website. There are no costs involved and you only need a valid e-mail address. You can pay by credit card, PayPal and instant bank transfer. For reasons of fairness, written orders and ticket reservations are not possible.
After purchasing, you can retrieve your ticket at any time via your online account. The FC Köln tickets can either be used on your smartphone or printed out as a PDF file. If you would like a mobile ticket, you must select “Digital day ticket” during the ordering process.

Many home games of the “Effzeh” are completely sold out. FC Köln tickets are in high demand, especially for the top matches with Borussia Dortmund, Gladbach or FC Bayern. If you can no longer get tickets on the primary market, you can try your luck on the secondary market. This is where tickets are passed on from fan to fan.
FC Köln operates an official secondary market to regulate the resale of tickets by fans. You have two options here:
The secondary market is not limited to the two official options. Some fans also offer their FC Köln tickets via sales platforms or on social media. However, caution is generally advised here. Because this is actually the black market. Not only can tickets be significantly more expensive, they can also be counterfeit.
We currently work with the following providers on the secondary market:
When searching for FC Köln tickets, you will come across various categories. For the occasional visit to the stadium, a single ticket is always the best choice. This secures you a seat for a match of your choice. You can choose between seats in the lower tier and upper tier. The closer you want to be to the action, the more expensive FC Köln tickets will naturally be.
A total of 8,000 standing places are available per match. These are located in the lower tier and sell out particularly quickly. Here you also have to expect visibility restrictions due to flags and banners. These seats are only recommended if you are a true “Effzeh” fan.
Referee tickets are also available for every home game. The allocation of these FC Köln tickets is handled by the Central Rhine Football Association. No referee tickets are issued at the RheinEnergie Stadion.
There is a free FC children’s ticket for children up to the age of 6. This does not include a seat entitlement. Proof of age must be presented on the day of the match. A maximum of one ticket will be issued per seat. Children’s tickets cannot be used in the standing area.
Season tickets are of course also available for all true fans. A maximum of 25,000 tickets are issued per season. As demand is extremely high, you must register online in advance for a waiting list. The waiting time can be several years. For season tickets, there is a choice between LigaPur and LigaPlus.
The price range for FC Köln tickets is between €17 for a standing place and €386 for a business seat. Conventional seats range from 39 to 79 euros. Discounted tickets are only available in categories IV to VI and are available to the following groups of people:
Proof of entitlement to a discount must be provided by presenting a photo ID. This must be carried when entering the stadium and shown to the stewards at any time on request.
The prices depend not only on the seats in the stadium, but also on the opponent. There are a total of three match categories. For comparison: seat category A costs either 79, 68 or 62 euros.
There is also a wide price range for season tickets. Standing tickets for the 2023/24 season cost €238. Seating category I costs 978 euros. Discounts are available for the aforementioned groups of people. Members of the “Effzeh” also receive a discount of around 5%.
There is a corresponding pre-sale for every home match of 1. FC Köln. There is an early bird sale, which is only available for members 20+. This usually starts months in advance and allows tickets to be purchased for all home matches. In addition, there is usually a protected pre-sale for members three weeks before the match day.
Only then do tickets go on sale to the general public. As a non-member, you then have the opportunity to secure tickets. However, you should always be quick here and let the club notify you. As soon as the free pre-sale begins, most tickets sell out quickly.
If you want to make a match day unforgettable, you can secure special FC Köln tickets with hospitality service. These VIP tickets offer you the best view of the match and access to the lounge. Business day tickets are only available for block N5. To make a booking, an enquiry must be sent to koeln@infrontsports.com well in advance.
There are a total of three business areas in the stadium. However, tickets are only available here as season tickets. The 57 boxes in the stadium can also only be booked for an entire season. Many hospitality services are therefore not available to you as an occasional visitor.
FC Köln has won the DFB Cup a total of four times. However, these historic club successes are only remembered by older fans. The last victory in the final came in the 1982/83 season and was particularly spectacular: at that time, the club defeated Fortuna Köln to be crowned derby and cup winners.
The last few years, however, have not always been crowned with success. The “Effzeh” often had to admit defeat against teams from the 2nd or 3rd Bundesliga. Cologne have not made it past the round of 16 for some time now. Nevertheless, all fans eagerly await the DFB Cup every season. After all, it has its own rules and hopes are high that the club can build on past successes.
In recent years, 1. FC Köln has had a taste of international football for the first time in a long time. The team was represented in both the Europa League and the Conference League. Although both matches ended in the group stage, the fans still have fond memories of these encounters.
After all, international football in Cologne has become a rarity. The anticipation was correspondingly great at the time and the atmosphere in the stadium was correspondingly good. As soon as the “Effzeh” is back in international competition, you should secure FC Köln tickets for these matches.
Special 1st FC Köln tickets are available for people with disabilities in blocks O2 to O7. One ticket costs 17 euros, one additional accompanying person may enter the stadium free of charge. A request must be submitted at least four weeks before the match day. If demand is high, tickets will be allocated by lot. However, FC members are favoured. There are also special offers for blind people. The match can be followed via audio devices with our own sports reporters.

With 50,000 seats, the RheinEnergie Stadium is one of the larger football arenas in the Bundesliga. During Euro 2024, the home of FC Köln will be used until the round of 16. A goat will also be a guest at every home game. The living mascot is unique in the Bundesliga.
