Even if sporting success has fallen somewhat by the wayside in the recent past, the Allianz Stadium is regularly sold out. Whether at the derby with the city rivals from favourites or in the battle for three points against teams from the bottom half of the table. When Rapid plays at home, a good atmosphere is guaranteed.

If you want to be part of this incredible fan dynamic, a regular visit to the stadium is almost a must. Be there live as they fight for three more points and give their all on the pitch to build on the sporting successes of the past. In our guide to buying tickets, you can find out everything you need to know, from the current prices to the availability of season tickets!

Tickets for Rapid Vienna home matches

No other stadium in the Austrian Bundesliga is as well attended as that of Rapid Vienna. At home games, Hütteldorf is literally turned upside down and thousands of visitors flock to the Allianz Stadium to keep their fingers crossed for the Green-Whites.

You can still be there live at one of the following home matches:

Tickets for the away matches of Rapid Vienna

Rapid Vienna’s away matches are also always well attended. The guest block is usually always full. Whether Altach or Graz – with an appropriate away ticket you also have the opportunity to support the team to victory away from home.

Tickets are currently still available for these upcoming away matches:

Where can I buy Rapid Vienna tickets?

You can of course buy tickets for Rapid Vienna home games from the club itself. This is known as the primary market. However, due to the great commitment of the fans, the games are regularly sold out. Especially for top matches or international games, there is hardly any chance of getting tickets on the first market. Then you can still try your luck on the secondary market.

Rapid Vienna tickets on the primary market

If you want to secure tickets via the primary market, the club itself will be your first port of call. Tickets are available online via the Rapid Vienna website or directly at the Fancorner at Gerhard-Hanappi-Platz 1 in 1140 Vienna. This is open from Monday to Saturday between 11am and 6pm. You can purchase both advance tickets and tickets at the box office directly on site.

Rapid Vienna tickets are available online as print@home tickets. This means you have to print them out after purchase. Tickets are also available in the official fan shops at the stadium centre or in St. Pölten.

Rapid Vienna tickets via the secondary market

Rapid Vienna has set up an official ticket exchange. If you are looking for tickets on the secondary market, this should be your first port of call. Tickets are sold by private individuals for private individuals via a secondary market. If someone is unable to come to the stadium due to illness or for other reasons, the tickets they have already bought can be resold.

In this way, the person avoids a financial loss and you can still get hold of remaining tickets for sold-out matches. If you come across tickets outside the official ticket exchange, caution is advised, especially with regard to the price. Tickets are often resold at a significantly higher price. This is how some people try to make extra money. Double or triple prices are not uncommon.

4 important points to bear in mind on the secondary market in Vienna:

  • What is the resale price? Before you buy a ticket on the secondary market, you should compare the selling price with the original price. Surcharges are not usually necessary as the seller does not incur any additional costs. If tickets are sold at a significantly higher price, someone is trying to make some extra money. Under no circumstances should you support such practices.
  • Where are the tickets sold? Fair prices and full functionality are only guaranteed via the official ticket exchange. The club monitors this sales platform and ensures that no fake tickets are advertised or overpriced. Of course, tickets for home matches are also frequently sold via third-party providers or directly outside the stadium. You should always be careful here.
  • Are the tickets genuine? Tickets on the secondary market do not necessarily have to be genuine. There are many scams that you should be aware of. Tickets are often not forwarded after payment. Some sellers also come directly to the stadium at the start of admission. You then have a genuine ticket, but it can no longer be used.
  • What are the club’s ticket conditions? In some cases, tickets are personalised by the club. This may be the case for away trips, international matches or derbies against Austria, for example. The ticket must then be rewritten in your name. Otherwise, you will not be admitted if your ID is checked at the stadium.

What tickets are available at Rapid Vienna?

At Rapid Vienna, you can either opt for a day ticket or a season ticket. A day ticket is particularly recommended if you don’t come to the stadium regularly but still want to cheer on the boys live on the pitch from time to time. You can find tickets both in the online shop and at the usual advance booking offices. If a match is not sold out, you can also buy a ticket at the box office. There is then a surcharge of one euro.

With a day ticket, you can choose seats in the Allianz Stand, the North Stand or the Main Stand. The guest sector is located in the curve between the North and Alliance stands. You can even secure a seat in the West Block. However, a strict code of behaviour applies here. If you are not passionate about Rapid Vienna, it can quickly become uncomfortable here.

When it comes to season tickets, you have the choice between the “ABO16” and the “ABO PLUS”. Both options guarantee you a place at the 16 home matches during the championship. There will be 11 home games in the basic round and 5 more in the play-offs. If you opt for an “ABO PLUS”, you can also watch all international test matches and possible deciding matches at the end of the play-offs live from the Allianz Stadium.

In addition, your seat is automatically reserved for home matches in the ÖFB Cup and international matches. However, you will still have to buy the tickets separately. In the first step, there is a renewal phase for all members who already had a season ticket in the previous year. The next step is the protected advance sale.

Only then can season tickets be purchased in open sales. The prices range between 294 and 471 euros for the “ABO16” and between 310 and 496 euros for “ABO PLUS”.

How much do Rapid Vienna tickets cost?

Rapid Vienna tickets are generally divided into two categories. Matches against Austria, LASK, Salzburg or Sturm are allocated to category I. Matches against all other Bundesliga clubs are classified as category II. In addition, all games in the championship play-off are automatically allocated to category I. Tickets for the top matches will be up to 5 euros more expensive.

In addition to the two price categories, the stadium will be divided into further categories. In addition to the infamous Block West for the Ultras, there are also tickets for categories A, B and C. The full price is between 28 and 43 euros. Tickets for the West Block, on the other hand, cost just 23 euros.

Discounts are available for students, pensioners and those doing military or civilian service. Young people up to the age of 19 also receive cheaper admission to the stadium on presentation of a valid ID document. The discounts are between 4 and 6 euros, depending on the category.

There are further discounts for children between the ages of 6 and 14. Here, a ticket costs between 10 and 15 euros. Sector 2 is also particularly interesting for families. This is designated as a child-friendly stand and offers package prices as well as favourable tickets for adults and children.

When does Rapid Vienna sell tickets?

Club members and annual ticket holders always have the right to purchase day tickets in advance. This applies to both national and international home games in Hütteldorf. Whether it’s against Red Bull Salzburg or Altach – advance sales are always protected. However, you can usually still purchase the desired number of tickets after the protected pre-sale, especially for less controversial matches.

However, the stadium often fills up particularly quickly for international duels, derbies or in the direct championship race. Advance ticket sales at Rapid Vienna always start at 11am. Advance sales always take place via the online shop, but also via the fan corner and in the fan shop at the stadium centre.

Are there VIP tickets for Rapid Vienna matches?

With a VIP day ticket, you can experience Hütteldorf’s home games on a whole new level. You can expect both an inside seat and a seat in the stadium with the best view of the action. Before, during and after the game, you can enjoy high-quality food and various non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.

There will also be an exquisite wine tasting, a show programme and guaranteed meetings with various legends of the club. Tickets are available for 310 euros in category A and 228 euros in category B. If Rapid qualifies for the championship play-off, all matches are automatically allocated to category A. Children up to 6 years of age have free admission, from 7 to 14 years there is a 50% discount.

There are also business boxes especially for companies, which can be booked on a seasonal basis and designed to suit your own taste. For this purpose, contact must be made with the club before the start of the season. The SK Rapid day box is available for private individuals. This can also only be booked by contacting the club.

ÖFB Cup tickets for Rapid Vienna

Not only Rapid fans will remember the last Cup final. For the first time since 2019, Rapid reached the final again. The top-of-the-table clash against Sturm Graz not only featured footballing highlights, but also a huge pyro show. Ultimately, however, the Green-Whites were defeated and are still waiting for another Cup victory since 1995.

However, the euphoria among the fans is greater than ever before. So you should definitely not miss a Rapid Cup match. Accompany the team to the final once again – maybe the long-awaited cup will finally be waiting for you at the end of the season.

Rapid Vienna tickets for people with disabilities

There are 48 wheelchair spaces available at the Allianz Stadium. Rapid Vienna is a pioneer in the field of inclusion. Wheelchair users can watch every match free of charge. A fee of 14 euros is charged for accompanying persons.

Tickets are available at the Fancorner as well as directly at the Allianz Stadium box office on match days. It is worth being there early. Unfortunately, you cannot reserve tickets. The seats for wheelchair users are located in the North Stand and the Allianz Stand.

Travelling to the Allianz Stadium in Vienna

Rapid Vienna stadium allianz arena map

The Allianz Stadium is one of the largest and most modern arenas in the Austrian Bundesliga. Since it opened in 2016, the 28,000 seats have always been full. The Allianz Stadium in Vienna-Hütteldorf also has the largest number of standing places in the Bundesliga.

If you have secured a ticket for the next home match, you will also find all the important information about travelling to the stadium.

If you are travelling by car, we recommend parking at the Hütteldorf Park & Ride facility. There are plenty of parking spaces available here. There is also the SK Rapid Garage directly at the stadium. However, this is permanently fully booked and is not available for parking.

The club generally recommends travelling by public transport anyway. The volume of traffic around the stadium can be enormous during home matches. Within Vienna, you can reach the stadium without any traffic jams by taking underground line 4.

Simply travel to the “Hütteldorf” terminus. Regional trains and the WESTbahn also run to Hütteldorf station on match days. Tram lines 49 and 52 also take you directly to the Allianz Stadium. To do this, you need to get off at the “Deutschordenstraße” stop.
