Karlsruher Sport-Klub, commonly known as Karlsruher SC or KSC for short, is currently one of the regular representatives of the Bundesliga 2. As a founding member of the Bundesliga, KSC is also one of the great traditional clubs in German football and its history includes two DFB Cup victories.
While the cup is also the best chance of winning a title every year, the club works seriously and in small steps in the league. After difficult times, the club has consolidated both in sporting and financial terms. Fittingly, the stadium renovation was completed in 2023 and the Wildparkstadion is now a pure football stadium – and regularly well-filled.
Tickets for the home matches of Karlsruher SC
In 2023, the club has 12,500 members, a record. It is therefore not surprising that a total of 14,000 season tickets were sold in the 23/24 season. The Wildparkstadion (officially BBBank Wildpark) has a capacity of 34,302 and KSC tickets are likely to be scarce due to the attractive line-up in the league. A sell-out is also conceivable for top matches, such as against Schalke 04 or Hamburger SV.
So if you want to experience a Karlsruhe SC home game and have good seats, you have to be quick, depending on the opponent. However, this is also worthwhile, as the KSC fans and above all various fan clubs and Ultras always promise a good atmosphere in the stadium. All the more so, of course, when Karlsruher SC is once again playing for promotion.

Tickets for the away matches of Karlsruher SC
As mentioned, the line-up of the second division promises many prestigious fixtures. The away trips are a particular highlight, especially for the loyal Karlsruhe fans. KSC tickets for away games are sometimes very limited and sell out quickly in the case of smaller contingents or top matches.
Nevertheless, KSC’s away matches are a great opportunity for every fan to experience the special atmosphere in a guest block and to visit stadiums such as the Millerntor Stadium or the Veltins Arena. Incidentally, due to fan friendships and rivalries, matches against Hertha BSC or 1. FC Kaiserslautern are always highlights with special choreographies.

How much do Karlsruher SC tickets cost?
Basically, the ticket prices at Karlsruher SC are in the middle price level of the league. The most expensive category are the seats in the centre of the east stand at 35 euros or 37 euros (padded seat) per day ticket. The opposite West Stand is only open for selected home matches, with a seat there costing 31 euros.
There is also the North Stand with a price of 26 euros per seat and the South Stand with standing room for 15 euros each. However, the latter are usually sold out to season ticket holders. It should also be noted that there are certain top match surcharges. This means that KSC tickets against HSV, Schalke 04 and Hertha BSC cost up to 30 per cent more.
What are the cheapest KSC tickets
Seats with obstructed view are a separate price category. These are cheap KSC tickets for 19 euros each, although the architecture of the stadium, choreography or other things restrict the view of the pitch.
As usual, there are also discounts for home tickets at Karlsruher SC. This means that tickets cost 3 to 5 euros less. A discount entitlement is granted with valid proof of the respective discount:
- Children and young people under the age of 18
- Full-time pupils and students
- FSJ volunteers
- Pensioner
- Severely disabled people with a GdB of 50 % or more
- Holders of a JuLeiCa-Card or a Karlsruhe Pass
Where can I buy Karlsruher SC tickets?

KSC mainly sells its tickets for home and away matches in the online ticket shop on the club’s website. It is important to note that you need to register to buy tickets and create your own KSC ID. This means that personal data must also be entered when purchasing tickets.
The club also makes tickets available at regional ticket agencies. This usually only applies to the fan shop at Rondellplatz in Karlsruhe. It is also possible to buy day tickets directly at the stadium on the day of the match, although this is of course the remaining contingent and there is therefore no guarantee of a ticket. In addition, these tickets cost 2 euros more than tickets purchased in advance.
When will KSC tickets go on sale?
As is usual for all clubs, the club always waits for the DFL to schedule the exact match dates before starting advance sales. However, tickets for the matches are generally only available to buy from around 4 weeks before a match.
Buyers must also note that the pre-sale takes place in phases. First, club members have the chance to buy a ticket, then season ticket holders get their seats and then the free pre-sale starts with the remaining available tickets.
Are tickets personalised at Karlsruher SC?
Unlike many clubs in the first and second Bundesliga, KSC tickets are not necessarily personalised. Buyers in the online ticket shop or fan shop can decide for themselves whether they want to personalise their ticket. It should be noted that the club does not grant any subsequent rewriting of the personalisation.
It is therefore up to each buyer to decide for themselves whether it makes sense to personalise their ticket. In any case, personal data will never be checked and proof of personalisation will never be requested at admission control due to the number of visitors.
Secondary market: KSC tickets on ticket exchanges, Ebay and Co.
The club itself operates its ticket marketplace, the KSC Marketplace. It is theoretically possible for members to buy tickets via this marketplace from the start of the pre-sale. Another option is the secondary market in the form of ticket exchanges such as Viagogo, StubHub and other providers. These are the usual day tickets, which are also available in the KSC shop.
Although the football clubs are fundamentally opposed to the sale of tickets via Viagogo and similar platforms, buying tickets on the secondary market is legal. It is important for buyers to pay attention to certain aspects:
- Does the price correspond to the club’s price level? (slightly higher prices are usual)
- Is the ticket already personalised?
- Is the seller reputable and offers secure payment methods? (e.g. Paypal instead of bank transfer)
- Can the authenticity of the ticket be guaranteed and verified?
Provided there are no concerns about such issues, the ticket from the secondary market can usually be used without any problems. However, anyone wishing to purchase a KSC ticket via Ebay should be aware that payment via PayPal is offered, while bank transfers always represent a risk.
DFB Cup tickets for Karlsruher SC
Away from the daily league routine, the one, or other cup match is a highlight for the club and fans every year. Finally, the cup competition also includes explosive matches against rivals such as FCK or even a clash against first division clubs.
Advance ticket sales for a cup match are handled in the same way as for a home match. This means that the usual sales phases begin around 4 weeks before the date, while tickets in the free pre-sale naturally sell out all the quicker later on.
Are VIP tickets available for the Wildparkstadion?
Attending a football match as a VIP is always a first-class experience for fans. Karlsruher SC also offers this opportunity at the Wildpark. KSC VIP tickets are available in different variants, for different areas and at individual prices:
- VIP ticket in a KSC box for 220 euros per person
- VIP ticket in the VIP-Treff for 180 euros per person
- VIP ticket in the Klinik am Stadtgarten lounge for 140 euros per person
- VIP children’s tickets for 60 euros per person
The prices for these VIP tickets are, of course, daily prices, but season tickets are also available in advance for one season. In any case, visitors enjoy a special hospitality offer with the best seats and catering by service staff in the VIP areas.
KSC tickets for people with disabilities
In the spirit of inclusion, Karlsruher SC grants special ticket discounts to people with disabilities. This applies, for example, to people with 50% GDB and deaf people, who only pay 19 euros per ticket. Visiting the stadium is even cheaper for wheelchair users and visually impaired people. For them, a KSC ticket costs only 7 euros.
Important information on travelling to the Karlsruher SC stadium

Travelling to Karlsruher Wildpark is usually unproblematic and there are plenty of parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Depending on the ticket, the parking fee is already included, in other cases, the club charges an additional fee, depending on the match and the expected capacity of the stadium.
Here is the address of the Karlsruher Wildpark for your satnav: Adenauerring 17, 76131 Karlsruhe.
In addition, KSC often offers so-called combi-tickets, which allow free use of local public transport. This is the most convenient and cheapest way of travelling to the stadium. However, it should be noted that this option requires personalisation of the respective ticket and, in the event of a possible check on the bus, train or local train, the validity of the ticket must also be proven for the individual.
