How and when can I get tickets for Euro 2024 in Germany?
If you want to get a ticket for the European Championship 2024 in Germany, you need to mark 3 October 2023 in red in your calendar. On this day, you have a chance to win tickets for the European Championship via the official UEFA website.
But you have to apply first. Because the rush will be much greater than the quota. This applies in particular to Germany’s group matches and all matches in the knockout phase. As soon as the application phase has ended, the buyers will be drawn by lot.
So to have any chance at all of getting tickets in the first round, you also need a pinch of luck. Incidentally, it is not yet clear when tickets for Euro 2024 in Germany will actually be available to buy.
How much do Euro 2024 tickets cost in Germany?
No official ticket prices have yet been announced by UEFA. However, you can use the ticket prices for the 2021 European Championship as a guide. All that is known so far is that the tickets will be divided into four price categories.
At the last European Championship, tickets cost between 25 and 225 euros. So you don’t necessarily have to spend a lot of money to experience the tournament live in the stadium. Even the coveted final tickets don’t have to be that expensive. Tickets for the 2021 European Championships started at around 100 euros. However, prices for the best seats can also reach four figures.
It is to be expected that there will be a price adjustment of around 10% compared to the last European Championship. This is likely to be UEFA’s response to the general rise in prices. This means that the cheapest tickets for less attractive group matches will probably be available from around 30 euros.
When will Euro 2024 take place?
After the Winter World Cup, the European Championship 2024 will finally be a summer football highlight again. The battle for the title of European champion will begin on Friday, 14 June 2023. Kick-off will be at 9 pm sharp in the Allianz Arena in Munich. It is already clear that host nation Germany will play the opening match.
Whether the German national team will also play in the final in the Olympic Stadium in Berlin is still questionable. What is clear is that the European Championship final will take place on 14 July 2023. Here, too, the ball will roll from 9 pm.
