The secondary market for FCN tickets: what you need to know

FC Nürnberg Ticket Viagogo

Alternatively, you can also purchase your tickets on the secondary market. However, this is only recommended if the home match is already sold out. Private ticket holders can resell their purchased tickets via the secondary market. Since the 2019/20 season, 1. FC Nürnberg has had its ticket exchange. Here, tickets can be purchased via the secondary market at no additional cost and in a reputable manner.

You should not purchase tickets on the secondary market from third-party sellers. The club prohibits these sales. In the worst case, the ticket is then invalid. In addition, the seller may face charges for disregarding the general terms and conditions. There is also no price guarantee on the secondary market. You must therefore always pay attention to the resale price!

4 important points you should pay attention to on the secondary market of 1. FCN:

  1. Resale price: With third-party providers, the resale price can be significantly higher than the original price. Regardless of how much you would like to see an already sold-out home game of FCN live in the stadium. Extortionate prices should never be paid. In addition, significantly higher ticket prices can also be an indication of fraudulent sellers.
  2. Sales platform: The club prohibits the resale of tickets between private individuals on any third-party platforms. According to the club, it is also not permitted to resell purchased tickets on social media. To be on the safe side and be able to purchase a ticket in accordance with the GTC guidelines, you must use the 1. FC Nürnberg ticket exchange. Here, there is also a guarantee that you will get into the stadium with the ticket from the secondary market.
  3. Authenticity: Fake tickets are repeatedly offered for sale on the secondary market. Dubious sellers try to take financial advantage of the fans’ distress, especially during top matches with extremely high demand. Once you have paid, you will either receive a fake ticket or no ticket at all.
  4. Ticket conditions: The ticket conditions at 1. FC Nürnberg show a clear direction for the secondary market. Only the sale and therefore also the purchase via the ticket exchange is permitted. All other sales platforms violate the general terms and conditions. This may result in the ticket being invalid and you not being able to enter the stadium.

We work with the following providers on the secondary market:
