If you want to see top talents in action, a visit to the Red Bull Arena must be on your to-do list. To be able to cheer on FC Red Bull Salzburg live in the stadium and celebrate the next three points together with the players, you need a ticket. For many fans, the primary market is the place to go. However, this is quickly emptied, especially for international matches or top duels. Alternatively, you can also look on the secondary market.
The primary market is the official ticket sale directly via FC Red Bull Salzburg. The easiest way to secure tickets is via the club’s online shop. The ticket shop can be accessed at any time and you will find a list of all home matches that are not yet sold out. If you come directly from Salzburg and the surrounding area, you can also buy tickets in the fan shop.
The “Bullshop” is located at Oberst-Lepperdinger-Straße 17 in 5071 Wals near Salzburg. The fan shop is open from Monday to Friday between 10am and 6pm and on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. The shop also opens three hours before kick-off on match days. Alternatively, you can also buy tickets directly at the box office before kick-off. Home games against less attractive clubs in particular are often not sold out. Some partners and sales outlets are also part of the official first market.
You can therefore also get tickets at the best price:
Top matches or international clashes in the premier class are often sold out within a very short time. If you are still looking for an opportunity to experience FC Red Bull Salzburg live, you can take a look at the secondary market. Tickets that have already been purchased are resold by private individuals.
The club has an official secondary market. This should always be your first port of call. This guarantees that no exaggerated prices are charged for tickets. You can also be sure that it is a genuine ticket. However, you need to be careful when reselling tickets via third-party portals. Pay particular attention to the original price.
The Red Bull Arena has a lower tier and an upper tier. For home matches in the Bundesliga, however, you can only buy tickets for the lower tier. The club offers both day tickets and season tickets. You can also buy VIP tickets for a special football experience, but more on that later.
The day ticket is probably the best choice for most FC Red Bull Salzburg fans. If you want to come to the stadium occasionally, you can find the right ticket in the north, east, south and west stands. The North Stand is occupied by the club’s “hardcore fans”. There may be restrictions here due to banners or flags.
The season ticket is worthwhile if you want to watch FC Red Bull Salzburg live on a regular basis. It gives you a fixed seat in the stadium and allows you to attend top matches and international fixtures. The season ticket also gives you access to the highly coveted Champions League matches. As the Austrian champions currently have a fixed place in the group stage, many football fans in general also purchase season tickets for FC Red Bull Salzburg’s home matches.
There are also attractive offers for families. These are available for an all-inclusive price and are available for two adults and one child up to and including the age of 13. The package price is 48 euros. However, the package cannot be booked online. You must request the tickets from the Ticketing & Service Centre.
There are price differences between the tickets for the Bundesliga and the Champions League. The ticket prices for the premier league range from €40 to €88 and are therefore around twice as expensive.
There are two price categories for FC Red Bull Salzburg’s Bundesliga matches. For top matches against Rapid, Austria, Sturm or LASK, tickets are up to 6 euros more expensive. Category II applies to all other opponents.
The most expensive tickets can be found in the West and East Stands. Here you have the best view of the action. Depending on the category, a ticket costs 35 or 39 euros. It is slightly cheaper in the South Curve. A ticket here costs either 25 or 31 euros. The north curve is equipped with standing room and therefore offers the cheapest tickets. Tickets here always cost 21 euros.
The club offers certain groups of people discounts of up to 6 euros per ticket. This offer is valid for schoolchildren, apprentices, students, pensioners, civil and military servants, young people aged 14 to 17 inclusive and people with disabilities. Children between the ages of 6 and 13 can get into the stadium for even less. Depending on the category, a ticket costs between 5 and 16 euros.
There are also some differences in the price of season tickets. For example, a ticket in the east centre block costs 505 euros. In the fan sector with standing room, on the other hand, a season ticket will only cost you 235 euros. There are also early bird offers every season. Depending on the category, you can save up to 45 euros. As with the day tickets, there are also discounts for the groups of people already mentioned.
For top duels and FC Red Bull Salzburg’s international appearances, there is an exclusive pre-sale for season ticket holders, Business Card holders and day ticket purchasers from the past two years. So if you only want to watch the Champions League at the Red Bull Arena, the chances are rather slim. There is no protected pre-sale for the less attractive matches. You can simply buy the tickets you want in the online shop once they have been activated. The FC Red Bull Salzburg partner shops mentioned above also offer these tickets.
Regardless of what happens on the pitch, you are guaranteed a top-class football match with a VIP ticket. Whether together with friends or your most important business partners. A visit to the Sky Boxes or the VIP Lounge is an unforgettable experience. For 305 euros per ticket, you get premium catering, a bar seat in the VIP area, top seats with the best view and an exclusive entrance area. If required, you can also request a VIP season ticket. All tickets are currently fully booked and you will be placed on a waiting list if required. The cost is over €3,800 for the Basic programme and over €5,000 for the Premium programme.
The stadium has both a Sky Lounge and a VIP Lounge. The latter is only accessible to holders of the club’s business card. This is particularly interesting for entrepreneurs. In addition to the football experience, it also offers the opportunity to network.
FC Red Bull Salzburg is often the measure of all things, not only in the Bundesliga but also in the ÖFB Cup. As the team was unable to win the cup last year, motivation is naturally particularly high in the new season.
The team is currently in the round of 16 and will do everything in its power to bring the title back to Salzburg this season. FC Red Bull Salzburg has yet to play a home match in the ÖFB Cup. The anticipation of a potential quarter-final or semi-final in their own stadium is therefore naturally particularly high.
There is a special area in the FC Red Bull Salzburg stadium for people with physical or mental disabilities. This is barrier-free and located particularly close to the edge of the pitch. This guarantees people with disabilities the best possible view.
A ticket costs 8 euros, the season ticket is available for 115 euros. A total of 60 wheelchair spaces are available in the stadium. People with disabilities without a wheelchair can enter the stadium for 11 euros. An accompanying person can only come along free of charge if they are registered on the disabled pass.
With over 30,000 seats, the Red Bull Arena is one of the largest stadiums in the Austrian Bundesliga. During Bundesliga matches, however, only the lower tier is open. The capacity is then limited to 17,218 spectators.
We have collected important information about travelling to the Red Bull Arena:
If you are travelling by car, there are plenty of parking spaces available. You can either park directly at the stadium car park or alternatively use the trade fair car park. This is significantly larger, but also a little further away from the stadium. On match days, there are regular shuttle buses from the stadium and back to the car park.
If you don’t want to search for a parking space, you can also travel by public transport. If you are travelling by train, get off at the “Salzburg Taxham Europark” stop. From there, it is around 10 minutes to the stadium.
If you are travelling by bus, you can also take lines 9 and 12 from the city of Salzburg to the “Salzburg Taxham Europark” stop. Alternatively, you can take lines 1 and 28 directly to the stadium on match days. The ticket for the stadium is also valid as a ticket for public transport.
