Where can I get tickets for the Allianz Arena in Munich?

Tickets for the Allianz Arena are generally purchased directly from FC Bayern Munich. This can be done either via the online ticket shop on the club’s website or by telephone via the hotline. The latter is available from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.

There may be exceptions for matches and events for which FC Bayern is not responsible. These include DFB international matches that are played in the Allianz Arena. In this case, tickets can be purchased directly from the DFB, either in the online ticket shop or by telephone.

These are the ticket categories at Bayern Munich Stadium

The main events in the stadium are of course the matches organised by the stadium’s owner, FC Bayern Munich. For Bundesliga, DFB Cup and Champions League matches, ticket buyers can generally choose from 5 categories:

  • Category 1 for €80 in the Bundesliga / Cup and €150 in the Champions League
  • Category 2 for €60 or €120
  • Category 3 for €50 or €100
  • Category 4 for €40 or €70
  • Category 5 for €15 or €19

The last and cheapest ticket category is standing room, which is completely reserved for season ticket holders every season and is therefore largely never available on free sale. If you want tickets for the best seats in the Allianz Arena, however, look at categories 1 and 2. In both cases, spectators sit on the main and back straight and, depending on the price, particularly in the centre and close to the pitch.

As mentioned, these prices and ticket categories apply to FC Bayern home matches. If other events take place, there may of course be deviations. However, as the club is the owner of the stadium, the prices listed are always a guide. These are the ticket prices for full payers.

Are there tickets for families or children at the Allianz Arena?

Viagogo FC Bayern Ticketkauf

As already mentioned, the first point of contact for buying tickets is FC Bayern and the respective organiser of an event in the stadium. Apart from that, however, the secondary market always offers opportunities to buy tickets for the Allianz Arena. This is a particularly sensible option for events that are already sold out. FC Bayern’s stadium is almost always sold out, especially for home matches in the Bundesliga. It is therefore worth having a look at the secondary market.

What aspects should I bear in mind when buying Bayern Munich tickets on the secondary market?

  • Ticket prices on the secondary market may be higher than in official advance sales.
  • Private ticket holders are generally responsible for sales, while ticket exchanges act as intermediaries.
  • Ticket portals such as Viagogo or StubHub offer secure payment methods with Paypal for greater buyer protection.
  • There is a higher risk of fraud when purchasing tickets via social media or Ebay classifieds – especially when bank transfers are selected as the payment method.

Another important point for buying tickets on the secondary market is the personalisation of tickets. Concerts and football matches in particular are now almost always personalised tickets.

Are tickets for the Allianz Arena personalised?

Tickets at the Allianz Arena, for example for home matches in the Bundesliga or the Champions League, are also usually personalised. This means that buyers enter their personal details when purchasing tickets so that a ticket is only valid for the person in question.

If a ticket is resold, the ticket holder must organise the transfer. There is a separate ticket app for Allianz Arena tickets, the Allianz Arena App. In addition to various other functions, a purchased digital ticket can be easily transferred to another person via the app.
