Where can I buy SSV Ulm tickets?

If you want to be there live in the stadium, you will, of course, require a ticket. You can find them either online via the club website, directly at the box office or via the secondary market. We have summarised all the important tips and information about the primary and secondary markets.

SSV Ulm tickets via the primary market

If you are looking for tickets for SSV Ulm matches, it is best to have a look at the Ulm website. There you have to click on “Ticketing”. The club’s online shop only contains fan merchandise.

In the ticketing section, you will find a list of all current prices, a stadium map and general information about SSV Ulm’s home matches. To buy tickets for home matches, you need to click on the “Go to ticket portal” button.

All league matches for which tickets are currently still available are listed there. You can either book your tickets via the stadium map or select individual seats in the stadium using the best seat search.

If you would rather not order tickets online, you can also visit the office at the Donaustadion. Alternatively, you can also try your luck at the box office during the match day. However, the top games and derbies in particular are usually completely sold out. There is also a surcharge of 2 euros at the box office. It is therefore worth buying tickets in advance via the online shop.

Tickets for SSV Ulm via the secondary market

SSV Ulm Ticket Viagogo

There is currently no official secondary market for SSV Ulm tickets. A secondary market is when there is a sales platform for private ticket sales. If you have already purchased tickets but are unable to attend the match, other fans can buy your tickets.

The Donaustadion is often completely sold out, especially for top matches such as against Erzgebirge Aue, derbies and an unexpectedly good table situation. If you are not quick enough, it is typically not possible to visit the stadium. It is then tempting to resort to unofficial secondary markets. Tickets are offered on various sales platforms even if the match is already completely sold out.

Make sure you pay attention to the original price. In the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga in particular, there is usually an official secondary market to combat extortionate prices. In the 3rd division, however, this service is only offered by very few clubs.

However, this also opens up new opportunities for fraudsters. In some cases, tickets offered for sale do not even exist, are not dispatched after payment or are sold at double or even triple the price.

4 important points to bear in mind on the SSV secondary market:

  • Resale price: On eBay classifieds and other sales platforms, you should always check the price of the tickets before buying them. Some people try to earn extra money by reselling tickets. Tickets for SSV Ulm are then often offered at a significantly higher price than the original ticket price.
  • Sales platform: As there is no official secondary market of the club, you are dependent on external sales platforms. There are no regulations on how expensive tickets can be. Fraudulent activities are also possible in principle.
  • Authenticity: In some cases, sellers trade in fake tickets. To protect yourself from online fraud, you should always have photos of the tickets sent to you. This way you can make sure that they exist. You can also check the details and compare the design and other details with the original tickets.
  • Ticket conditions: You do not have to take any special ticket conditions into account when purchasing via the secondary market. There are no personalised tickets at SSV Ulm. This means you do not have to bring your ID with you and names are not printed on the tickets. In principle, you even have the opportunity to buy tickets outside the stadium shortly before kick-off.

What tickets are available at SSV Ulm?

The classic ticket at SSV Ulm is the day ticket. Here you can either choose a seat in the main stand or the opposite stand. Tickets for the main stand are slightly pricier. Alternatively, there is also standing room. Block D, I and H are standing room only.

With over 10,150 standing places, the Donaustadion is in the top 3 of the 3rd division. The view from the front stand is somewhat restricted. However, you can get a seat here for the price of a standing place. Block F5 is specially designed for families. This makes the stadium experience something special for younger visitors too.

If you want to follow SSV Ulm live throughout the season, a season ticket is of course a suitable option. Here, too, you can select a seat in the main or opposite stand. It is also particularly cheap in the front stand.

In Block D, H or I, you can buy a season ticket for a standing area. No season tickets can be reserved for the family sector. Here you need to be as quick as possible during the pre-sale. Seats are limited and the sector is fully booked for almost all home matches.

How much do SSV Ulm 1846 tickets cost?

The cheapest ticket for an SSV Ulm home match is available for 15 euros. Here you can either opt for a standing area or a seat in the front stand. Tickets in the family block are slightly pricier. Here you pay 20 euros per ticket.

The conventional seats are the most expensive in the stadium. Tickets for the main stand cost 30 euros. In the opposite stand, however, the price is also 20 euros. There is a discount of up to 75% for children aged 6 to 14, depending on the sector.

Members of the club, pupils, students, trainees, and pensioners each receive a five euro discount. Young people up to the age of 17 can also get into the stadium for five euros less.

The cost of a season ticket ranges from 220 euros for standing or seated tickets in the front stand to 440 euros for a seat in the main stand. For children between the ages of 6 and 14, season tickets are available at a 45% discount. Reduced tickets are between 40 and 80 euros cheaper.

When does SSV Ulm sell tickets?

You can buy tickets in the ticket shop on the SSV Ulm website around two months before kick-off. As a rule, there is no protected advance sale for members. To buy tickets, however, you must create an account on the website. However, this has nothing to do with official membership of the club.

For listed matches in the online shop, you can usually also visit the office at Stadionstraße 17. However, this is currently being renovated and is therefore not open. Advance tickets are currently only available online on the club’s official homepage.

Are VIP tickets available for SSV Ulm matches?

With the promotion to the 3rd division, SSV Ulm has also created a VIP area in the Donauarena. This is known as the BITE Business Club and is located in a tent outside the stadium. A box, special VIP seats or a particularly good view of the action is therefore not guaranteed here.

The tent offers space for around 350 guests. You will not only enjoy delicious catering, but also VIP parking spaces and a separate entrance behind the main stand. The business club will then move into the stadium during the current season. A two-storey VIP area with a glass front overlooking the match is planned.

However, tickets are currently not available. The current Business Club is only accessible to selected persons, and almost all seats have already been allocated for the entire season.

DFB Cup tickets for SSV Ulm

SSV Ulm last competed in the DFB Cup in 2021/22. With promotion to the 3rd division, however, the cup madness could stop in Ulm again next year. However, the team must at least finish in 4th place for this to happen.

SSV Ulm tickets for people with disabilities

SSV Ulm provides a special barrier-free area in the stadium for people with disabilities. Wheelchair users, visually impaired or deaf people and people with a disability of 50% or more and one accompanying person have access. These tickets must be requested separately via [email protected].

Travelling to the Donaustadion

SSV Ulm Stadium Donaustadion location

With a capacity for 19,500 spectators, the Donaustadion is in the top third of the 3rd division. A good atmosphere is guaranteed here in any case. The stadium has existed in its current form since 1999, when the opposing stand was built to accommodate more fans.

To help you get to the Donaustadion without stress, we have summarised all the information you need to know about getting there:

If you are travelling by car, we recommend parking in Thalfinger Straße. Car park P1 is available here. Alternatively, you can also park in the trade fair car parks P3, Donauhalle and P4/Volksfestplatz. The car parks are signposted and the parking ticket costs 5 euros.

From the main railway station, take tram line 1 in the direction of Donauhalle directly to the SSV Ulm venue. You have to get off at the Donaustadion stop. Alternatively, you can also travel by bus. This stops directly at the main entrance.

If you are coming directly from Ulm, we recommend travelling by bike. There are plenty of bicycle parking facilities right next to the stadium. This way you can avoid the crowds and the associated traffic chaos.

Here is the exact address of the Donaustadion for your satnav: Stadionstraße 5, 89073 Ulm.

It is also important to know that block flags and double holders may not be taken into the stadium. You can find detailed information on the club’s website.
