Primary Market 2. Bundesliga Ticket prices 2025/2026

Overview of single-match and season tickets for all clubs

The 2. Bundesliga is a league of superlatives and thrives on its outstanding fan culture. Internationally, with an average attendance of 28,342, it even relegates the English Championship to second place, which still manages an average of 22,789 spectators. All other second divisions in Europe lag far behind. Many clubs are currently expanding their stadiums to cope with the high demand.

In this overview, you will find the current ticket prices for the 2. Bundesliga clubs on the primary market – including single-match tickets and season tickets. For each club, we show you at a glance what seated and standing tickets cost for the 2025 season, what the price ranges are, and whether there are any special sales conditions.

At the other end of the spectrum from Hertha is the GDR’s record champions in the 2. Bundesliga; according to transfermarkt.de, Dynamo Dresden’s squad has the lowest market value in the division at €10.98 million. This inevitably makes the newly promoted side a relegation candidate. However, the team has a loyal fan base behind it, which supported their side frenetically last season with an average attendance of 28,991. This year, too, the 15,000 season tickets sold out in no time. Sold-out matches at the new 32,249-capacity stadium are therefore likely to be the norm.

The club has increased its ticket prices by 5 to 10 per cent for the new league. Season tickets for standing room now cost 230 euros (+20 euros), whilst seats are priced at between 365 and 615 euros. Single-match tickets are available for 14 euros (standing room) and 28 or 31 euros. In addition, Dynamo Dresden offers discounts to members, school pupils, students, pensioners, those receiving benefits and people with severe disabilities (GdB 70 or above), and the benefits for both groups can be combined. Children aged between 6 and 14 pay the lowest price, and the club offers two affordable family rates.

Information

Season ticket holders avoid the price surcharge for four top-flight matches.

The rush for tickets to the smart Home Deluxe Arena has long since begun, which is no surprise given the fierce competition for the 15,000 seats; as a result, the black market is likely to flourish once again this season. As club members are given priority in the advance sale, it will once again be difficult for non-members to secure a seat in the stadium. Last season’s record average attendance of 14,117 speaks volumes. Euphoria reigns, not least thanks to the very strong fourth-place finish.

The high demand has prompted the club to raise stadium ticket prices significantly. Last season, it already offered the most expensive seats in the 2. Bundesliga. As season tickets, these will cost an additional 99 euros this season, bringing the price up to 624 euros. Even standing tickets, at 232 euros, make a noticeable dent in the wallet. Nevertheless, season tickets for SC Paderborn 07 can be worthwhile due to various benefits. For instance, holders avoid the surcharge for four top-flight second division matches (5 euros for seats and 2 euros for standing tickets) and gain entry to the stadium at a reduced rate for U21 matches. Prices for day tickets in the standing area range from €14.50 to €16.50. For the seated area, ticket prices range from €31 to €39.

The league's most expensive standing season ticket, despite a slight price reduction. No members' discount. Discounts for those eligible for reduced rates and children under 14 are minimal.

Having been relegated, Kiel’s Storks are among the favourites for promotion and, following a restructuring, can boast a strong squad despite the departure of Shuto Machino, who moved to Gladbach for €8 million. The stadium, built during the Kaiser’s reign, is bursting at the seams with just over 15,000 spectators. An extension to the ground is therefore in the planning stages. Due to the current limited capacity, the club offers the most expensive standing season tickets in the league, despite slight price reductions.

Whilst these are priced at 256 euros, spectators can choose between three categories of seating. The club charges 480 euros for uncovered seats and 560 euros for covered seats. For the covered seats on the north stand in blocks K1–K3, which offer a frontal and therefore the best view of the football action, the club charges 800 euros for this level of comfort.

Fans who prefer day tickets can choose from five price categories. Covered seating costs €16 and uncovered seating €15. Seats, on the other hand, cost €50, €35 or €30 depending on their location. In both ticket categories, a family block is available to visitors, which can be booked for various group sizes. Discounts for those eligible for concessions and children under 14 are low compared to other clubs in the league. There is no members’ discount.

Renovation work is currently underway in Münster as well, meaning that the venue’s capacity is also limited to 12,947 seats. Once the work is complete, the arena’s capacity is set to increase to 19,165 seats. Finding seats is likely to be particularly difficult, as only 3,000 can currently be occupied. No new season tickets were issued before the season. In any case, only members are permitted to purchase them.

There are two price categories available for standing and seated tickets at the Preußenstadion. Season ticket holders can support their team in the relegation battle from covered standing areas for €266, or from uncovered standing areas for €236. For seated tickets, the cost rises to €555 or €675. Day tickets are available for standing places at €17.70 and €15.70, and for seated places at €45 and €37. Smaller discounts are available for members and those eligible for concessions. Children aged between 2 and 14 pay a price that is significantly more than half that of full-price tickets, which is quite high by league standards.

The Wildparkstadion, which has been completely refurbished and modernised, provides fans with a wonderful setting for Karlsruhe’s home matches. Consequently, the club charges quite a bit for tickets, which are on the high side compared to other clubs in the league. However, visitors have various ways to save money, and the club presents itself as family-friendly, resulting in huge discounts for the spacious family zones. At the same time, the club is committed to inclusion, ensuring that people with disabilities have easy and affordable access to the football stadium.

Season tickets for standing areas are available for €236.10, whilst there are numerous price categories for seated areas. For example, seats with upholstered seating are slightly more expensive, and the club offers 674 boxes with hospitality services. Possible prices for an annual season ticket in the seating area are €423.80, €505.90, €538.50, €571.10 and €603.70. Those who are willing to tolerate obstructed views caused by advertising hoardings, handrails and access to the stands can get away much more cheaply at €310.30, regardless of the stand. There are two price categories for families, so parents with children can choose between a season ticket for €423.80 and €505.90.

For day tickets, KSC divides its matches into two categories based on the attractiveness of the opposition, with Category A reserved for top-of-the-table clashes. In this category, standing tickets cost €20.30, breaking the €20 barrier and highlighting the high prices at the Wildparkstadion. In contrast, Category B matches are significantly cheaper at €16.50. Those who prefer to sit can do so in Category A matches for €37.80, €45.20, €48.50, €51.20, €53.80 and €70.50 in the box seats. Again, Category B matches are considerably more affordable at €28.50, €34, €36.50, €38.50, €40.50 and €53 for box seats. Those who can cope with restricted views can even take a seat in the stands for €21 (Category B) or €28 (Category A).

Children up to the age of 14 can enter the stadium for half price in standing areas and for less than a third of the full adult price in designated seating areas. For children under the age of 6, admission is even free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The spirit of inclusion is reflected not only in substantial discounts for disabled people, particularly those with visual impairments and wheelchair users, who can enter the stadium for a fraction of the price. They are also offered specially designated areas to accommodate their needs. Members do not receive a discount, but they do have priority booking rights.

Information

No new season tickets are available for this season. Day ticket prices vary depending on the opposition. Members receive a €2.50 discount.

Long gone are the days when Bochum were regarded as a team that could never be relegated. These days, VfL are a typical yo-yo team, regularly bouncing between the first and second divisions. With manager Dieter Hecking at the helm, the aim is to secure immediate promotion. Although established players such as Ivan Ordets, Bernardo and Tim Oermann have left the club, Kevin Vogt has been brought back and promising young talents have been brought in on loan.

Despite being relegated, VfL Bochum has not reduced its ticket prices for the Ruhrstadion. The club is confident that its loyal supporters will remain faithful to the club even in the second division. As there have been virtually no cancellations among the 18,000 season ticket holders, the club has decided not to issue any new season tickets this year. The few remaining seats will be reserved for day tickets.

Depending on the opposition, home matches are divided into two categories. Standing tickets therefore cost 19 or 17 euros. For seated tickets, there is a wide range of price categories, which vary depending on the section. The most expensive are the premium seats in the North Stand, which cost 62.50 or 55 euros per match, whilst seats in the West Stand are significantly cheaper at 39 and 29 euros respectively. Seats in the family block are also good value at 34 and 24 euros, and 20 or 10 euros for children under 14. Members receive a discount of €2.50. In addition, the usual concessionary rates apply.

Finishing third last season, the Saarland side were the surprise package of the campaign and are aiming to play a prominent role in the 2. Bundesliga again this year. Unfortunately, only 10,000 fans are currently allowed into the Waldstadion Kaiserlinde. Following modernisation work, the capacity is set to increase to 15,000 spectators. Supporters pay €229 for a standing season ticket, whilst seated tickets cost €369, €434 and €494 depending on the category. Members pay significantly less at €169, €324, €379 and €439. This means SV Elversberg offers the highest membership discount in the league.

Day tickets cost 17 euros for standing room (13 euros for members) and 29/25, 33/29 and 37/33 euros for seated tickets. Wheelchair users and their carers can enter the stadium for less than a third of the full price. The club charges even less for children and young people aged between 6 and 18, whilst children under 6 get in for free.

Information

The cheapest standing-room season ticket in the league. A spacious family area. Substantial discounts for typical groups (pensioners, schoolchildren, students) and members.

We move from the most expensive standing-room season tickets to the cheapest standing-room season tickets. Fortuna Düsseldorf can afford to do this. After all, the modern Merkur Spiel-Arena, with its retractable roof – which replaced the dilapidated Rheinstadion in the early 2000s – is absolutely first-division standard in terms of capacity. The favourable terms of the season tickets are reflected in the pricing structure, as season ticket holders pay for 17 matches only as much as members pay for 11 matches and non-members pay for 12 matches with a single-match ticket.

Standing tickets therefore cost just €204, whilst seating is available in four categories, priced at €420, €504, €564 and €684 depending on the choice. Day tickets cost €17 for standing places and €27, €35, €42, €47 and €57 for seats. There is also a generously equipped family area with reduced prices and affordable children’s tickets, whilst special sections of the stadium cater to the needs of wheelchair users and those with visual or hearing impairments. There are also significant discounts for typical groups (pensioners, school pupils and students) and members.

The iconic club from Gelsenkirchen, led by star striker Moussa Sylla, is once again aiming for the long-awaited promotion to the top flight this year. With an average attendance of 61,466, the Revierclub is one of the absolute crowd-pullers and plays a major role in the appeal of the second Bundesliga, which is packed with many traditional clubs. With the stadium almost always sold out, Schalke also set a world record for average attendance among second-tier clubs last season. The hard-core Schalke fans in the standing section can once again cheer their team on for a modest price of 199 euros.

There are five seating categories available, meaning that members must pay 400, 495, 685, 840 or 860 euros for a season ticket, depending on the price category. Young people pay just over half this amount, whilst children pay slightly less. Non-members must pay a surcharge of 20 euros for each zone. For members, day tickets cost €17.50 (standing room) and €29, €35, €46, €58 and €66, which equates to a member discount of around €1.50. People with severe disabilities benefit from reduced prices and can access special areas in the stadium to ensure they enjoy an uplifting matchday experience despite their impairments, such as mobility issues, visual impairment and hearing loss.

Information

Significant discounts for members. Children under 6 can receive free lap tickets. Family tickets are available.

1. FC Magdeburg has steadily increased its average attendance over the four years it has spent in the second division and has established itself in the league. As the modern Avnet Arena, built in 2006 to replace the dilapidated Ernst-Grube-Stadion, was consistently sold out last season, competition for the coveted stadium seats is correspondingly fierce, which gives the club the opportunity to adopt a confident pricing structure compared to other clubs in the league.

What is striking is the huge variation in ticket prices across different zones, meaning fans can choose from 13 different options. The cheapest option for supporters is a season ticket with a standing ticket for 240 euros, whilst prices for the highest seating category can rise to as much as 574 euros. Single-match tickets, meanwhile, are divided into two categories depending on the opposition. Whilst the cheapest standing places in both categories can be secured for €17.50, the most expensive seats cost €46 and €41 respectively.

There are small discounts available for groups such as school pupils, students, people with severe disabilities and pensioners, whilst these discounts are particularly substantial compared to other clubs in the league. Young people pay only around two-thirds of the price, and ‘Kahlen’ – the term used in Magdeburg fan slang to refer to children – pay barely more than a third of the price. Children under the age of 6 pay even less, and parents can purchase free lap tickets for them. Those who choose a stadium seat designated as ‘for the visually impaired’ also save money. Family tickets are available for various family set-ups. In addition, the stadium has special seating for wheelchair users and the visually impaired.

Various flexible options, such as the family ticket or the parent-child ticket. Discounts on the reduced-fare ticket range from 25 to 30 per cent. Children under six travel free of charge.

With a capacity of almost 50,000, the Heinz-von-Heiden-Arena is suitable for top-flight football and, originally designed to accommodate 86,000 spectators, was once the second-largest stadium in the Federal Republic of Germany. With such a lavishly equipped arena, it is no wonder that the club has numerous options for catering to as many target groups as possible, meaning that fans are spoilt for choice when buying tickets.

Overall, although ticket prices remain quite high compared to other leagues following the drastic price hike for the 2024/25 season, the club offers several ways to save money. Full-price ticket holders pay €240 for a standing ticket and can choose from five price tiers for a seat. You decide whether your regular visits to the stadium are worth €360, €405, €480, €535 or €610. For day tickets, the price range is between €18 for a standing ticket and €50.60 for a premium seat.

Fan groups have calculated that an annual travel pass in Hanover offers savings of around 20 per cent. In addition, there are various flexible options available for families, such as the family ticket or the parent-child ticket. The discounts for the reduced-fare ticket are also significant, ranging from 25 to 30 per cent depending on the seat selected. Children under the age of six can travel free of charge when accompanied by a guardian. Furthermore, the purchase of a ticket entitles the holder to free travel to and from the match within the ÜSTRA fare zone. Generally, the club offers a 5%, 10% and 15% discount, with season ticket holders rewarded for their loyalty with a 5% discount, members with a 10% discount and members holding a season ticket with a 15% discount.

Prices have risen sharply. There is hardly any member discount. Children up to the age of 14 pay significantly less than half price; children under 6 get in for free. A €2 service charge applies for online bookings on match days.

The club is entering its eighth consecutive season in the second division with a revamped squad. Experts predict it will finish somewhere in the middle of the table. The Max-Morloch-Stadion is currently undergoing renovation and is set to accommodate 50,000 spectators in future. To ensure its supporters contribute to the costs, the club has again significantly increased ticket prices this year.

For a standing-room season ticket, fans will pay 226 euros in the 2025/26 season, whilst seated tickets will cost between 326 and 766 euros. The members’ discount is barely noticeable in the prices, but is combined with other benefits such as discounts in the club shop. The reduced-rate fare also seems modest. However, children up to the age of 14 can enter the stadium for significantly less than half price, whilst children under the age of 6 are admitted free of charge.

Day tickets for standing areas cost 18 euros for full-price ticket holders, whilst seats are priced between 32 and 59 euros depending on the price category. Wheelchair users can enter the stadium for just 7 euros, whilst children in every category pay only half price. A special feature is the “Nürnberg gewinnt” stand, where visitors can contribute to a good cause for just one euro. Families (one adult with a child) can book a day ticket in the opposite stand for 33 euros or in the main stand for 37 euros. The club charges a 2-euro surcharge for tickets purchased on match day and a 2-euro “service fee” for online purchases.

At the Eintracht Stadium, almost half of the nearly 24,000 seats are reserved for standing spectators. Season tickets for standing places cost 235 euros, whilst seats cost 378, 445 or 587 euros, depending on the zone. Visitors can save money by accepting a seat with a restricted view, for example where the pitch is obscured by the terrain, a support structure or an advertising hoarding. People with severe disabilities pay even less, and the stadium has a designated area with a wheelchair ramp.

The family section is generously sized, meaning that families comprising a maximum of one adult and three children can choose between a season ticket for €587 or €445. Each additional child costs €115. The youth ticket is available for young people up to and including the age of 17 in blocks 5 to 9 and is particularly good value at €160. A special feature is the range of discount groups, with the 5 per cent discount reserved for club members and the fan clubs that create the atmosphere in the South Stand. Members of the ‘Eintracht4Kids’ kids’ club receive, among other perks, a 10 per cent discount on their season ticket.

1. FC Kaiserslautern is the second biggest crowd-puller alongside Schalke 04. The four-time German champions have made some sensible signings, but must cope with the departure of key players Ragnar Ache and Filip Kaloc. The average attendance of almost 50,000 is also impressive, meaning the Fritz-Walter-Stadion was consistently sold out last season. This is remarkable for a town as small as Kaiserslautern, with a population of barely over 100,000. For the new season, the historic club has announced a new club record with 32,682 season tickets sold. As sales have now been halted, season tickets can only be purchased via ticket exchange platforms and agents.

To enable supporters to spur their Red Devils on to peak performance at the Betzenberg ‘Hell’, day tickets ranging from 20 to 44 euros are available from the club across six price categories. As all standing-room tickets are allocated to season-ticket holders, non-members can only choose seated tickets. Members do not receive any discounts, but members of fan clubs do, and they can take their seats at Betzenberg for €17. Small discounts are available for young people, pensioners, disabled people and the usual fan groups, whilst children under six years of age are admitted free of charge. In addition to the ticket prices, the club charges a booking fee of €1. According to Fanvergleich, the club offers the cheapest seats in the league.

With a market value of €41.48 million, Hertha Berlin has the strongest squad in the league according to transfermarkt.de and is once again among the favourites, even though star prospect Ibrahim Maza has left the capital club for Leverkusen in a €12 million move. The significant increase in ticket prices for the 2024/25 season did nothing to dampen the euphoria at the Olympiastadion. The capital club set a new club record last season with an average attendance of 59,655. Even during its many years in the top flight, Hertha had never come close to this figure. Ticket price increases for this season have been moderate, meaning the rush for the nearly 75,000 seats can begin. The original design of the Olympic Stadium means that only seated tickets are available.

Seats are divided into numerous price categories, with those in the three highest price categories designated as “Comfort Seats”. For season tickets, there are six price categories, with ticket prices of 310, 380, 430, 510, 630 and 750 euros for full-price ticket holders. Members receive a 10 per cent discount or a 20 per cent discount if they also meet the conditions for the reduced-rate fare (school pupils, students, pensioners, severely disabled persons). A 40 per cent or 50 per cent discount is available for children, with the higher discount reserved for members of the Kids Club. Thanks to the “Kids4Free” promotion, adults paying the full price can even bring up to two children under the age of 14 into blocks A and 1 free of charge. Supporters’ groups can once again spur on their Hertha players to peak performance in the Ostkurve Unterring for 240 euros.

There are seven price categories for day tickets, with Hertha BSC even dividing matches into three categories depending on the calibre of the opposition. Tickets for Category 1 matches cost between €30 and €80, for Category 2 matches between €25 and €70, and for Category 3 matches between €20 and €60. Special seats are available at reduced rates for people with severe disabilities, and children under the age of 6 are admitted free of charge.
