3. Bundesliga: Ticket prices for the 2024/2025 season

Due to its combative mentality, passion and will, the 3rd division offers a place for football romantics to feel at home. Every week, the players and officials leave their hearts on and off the pitch. It is therefore not surprising that spectators flock to the stadium to cheer on their team. But how much does it cost for fans to enter the stadiums?

We have put together an overview of ticket prices for the 2024/2025 season for you here. The prices of standing-room season tickets and the day ticket costs for full-paying fans of the third division clubs are compared.

The ticket prices of the 3rd Bundesliga at a glance (in ascending order)

1st FC Ingolstadt

FC Ingolstadt offers the cheapest standing-room season ticket price. The “Schanzers” charge 150 euros for this ticket. A standing area day ticket costs 14 euros for loyal Ingolstadt supporters.

2nd SV Sandhausen

As with FC Ingolstadt, the standing-room season ticket for SV Sandhausen also costs 150 euros. For a day ticket in the standing area of the Hardtwaldstadion, Sandhausen charge 11 euros. Only the U23 teams of Borussia Dortmund, Hannover 96 and VfB Stuttgart are cheaper in this category.

3rd Alemannia Aachen

A standing-room season ticket for the 2024/2025 season costs €165. This puts Aachen in 3rd place. A day ticket for one of the 11,681 standing places at the Tivoli Stadium costs fans 12 euros.

4th Viktoria Cologne

Viktoria Köln sells standing-room season tickets for the 2024/2025 season for 175 euros. The stadium capacity of the “Sportpark Höhenberg” of Viktoria from the Höhenberg district of Cologne on the right bank of the Rhine is 8317 seats. A day ticket for the standing area costs 12 euros for Viktoria Köln fans.

5th SC Verl

At SC Verl, the price for a standing area season ticket is 180 euros. The SPORTCLUB-Arena of Sportclub Verl has a capacity of 3000 standing places. Fans of the East Westphalian football club pay 14 euros for a day ticket in the standing room segment.

6th SpVgg Unterhaching

In the Munich district of Unterhaching, a standing-room season ticket for the local football club costs 182 euros. SpVgg Unterhaching charges fans 13 euros for a day ticket for the standing area.

7th Wehen Wiesbaden

Fans of last season’s relegated team have to pay 190 euros for a standing-room only season ticket. A day ticket for the standing area in Wehen Wiesbaden’s Brita-Arena costs 12 euros.

8th 1. FC Saarbrücken

The cup shocker of the last cup season was undoubtedly 1. FC Saarbrücken, who made it to the semi-finals as a third division team. The football club from the Saarland was able to rely on its fans, especially in the cup. In the 2024/25 season, loyal supporters will pay €200 for a standing-room season ticket and €12.50 for a standing-room day ticket.

9th SV Waldhof Mannheim

Waldhof Mannheim is the 2nd club in the 3rd division to break the €200 mark, as SV Waldhof fans pay €205 for a standing-room season ticket. A day ticket for the standing area of the Carl-Benz Stadium costs €13.

10th VfB Stuttgart II

With the 2nd team of VfB Stuttgart, the first U23 team of a professional team is now appearing. For fans of the Swabians, a standing-room only season ticket costs 205 euros, while a day ticket costs 10 euros.

11th Dynamo Dresden

Dynamo Dresden are in 11th place in the ticket rankings with a standing-room season ticket price of 210 euros. Dynamo fans have to pay 16 euros for a standing day ticket.

12th DSC Arminia Bielefeld

Arminia’s Schüco-Arena has a total capacity of 27,332 seats, of which 7940 are standing places that are regularly full. Fans pay 210 euros for a standing-room season ticket and 15 euros for a day ticket in this area.

13th RW Essen

Standing-room season tickets in Essen are a little pricier, with RWE fans paying 216 euros. However, the day tickets for the standing areas are 1 euro cheaper, here a ticket costs 14 euros.

14th VfL Osnabrück

At Bremer Brücke, the home stadium of VfL Osnabrück, there is always a good atmosphere at home matches. VfL’s standing-room only season ticket costs 217 euros and a day ticket for those standing costs 14.50 euros.

15th FC Hansa Rostock

FC Hansa Rostock, which was relegated from the 2nd division, has raised ticket prices considerably recently. Fans of the Kogge pay €239 for a standing-room season ticket for the 2024/2025 season. At €15, the day ticket is a moderate price compared to the rest of the league.

16th Energie Cottbus

Former Bundesliga team Energie Cottbus will be back in the 3rd division in the 2024/2025 season following promotion last season after 6 years in the regional league. The Cottbus team can rely on the support of their fans, even if they are at the lower end of the table with a standing-room season ticket price of 240 euros. A standing-room only day ticket in Cottbus costs 17 euros.

17th Borussia Dortmund II

Standing-room season tickets for Borussia Dortmund’s 2nd team for the 2024/2025 season cost EUR 250. Standing-room-only day tickets are the cheapest way for fans to get their hands on tickets, as they cost just EUR 5.

18th TSV 1860 Munich

TSV 1860, a founding member of the Bundesliga, can be found in the 3rd division. Fans of the “Sechziger” will have to dig deep into their pockets for a standing-room season ticket for the 2024/2025 season. Such a ticket costs €285 for the Munich club and a day ticket for the standing area costs €18.

19th Erzgebirge Aue

In the Erzgebirge, fans pay even more for a standing area season ticket than in Munich. In Aue, fans pay 288 euros for a season ticket and 18 euros for a standing area day ticket.

20th Hannover 96 II

In contrast to all other teams, Hannover 96’s U23 team does not offer a special standing-room only season ticket. However, season ticket holders of the professionals receive a 10% discount on day tickets. A day ticket for the standing area is available for 10 euros.
