2. Bundesliga: Ticket prices for the 2024/2025 season in comparison

The 2nd Bundesliga in Germany has gained prominent new members following the relegation of 1. FC Köln and SV Darmstadt from the top flight. It is not for nothing that the lower division has been dubbed the “strongest 2nd division of all time”. In the 2024/2025 season, former German champions such as 1. FC Nürnberg, Eintracht Braunschweig, Hamburger SV, FC Schalke 04 and 1. FC Köln will be in the 2nd division.

A new world ticket record was set in the German lower house last season. But how much do the tickets for the teams in the 2nd division cost? We have put together an overview of ticket prices for the 2024/2025 season for you here. We compare the prices of standing-room season tickets and the day ticket price for full payers of the 2nd division teams. Furthermore, we also add the increase compared to the previous season and the savings for members.

Ticket prices in the 2nd Bundesliga at a glance (in ascending order)

1st SpVgg Greuther Fürth

The lowest standing-room season ticket price is offered by the Fürth club. Fans of the “Kleeblätter” pay 180 euros for such a ticket. The club’s supporters pay €30 more for a season ticket compared to the 2023/2024 season.

A day ticket at SpVgg Greuther Fürth costs €8.50. Members do not receive the member discount on season tickets.

2nd 1st FC Cologne

In 2nd place is relegated Bundesliga team 1. FC Köln with a standing-room season ticket price of 190 euros. This will please all Cologne fans in the south curve, as it means a price reduction of 48 euros for the 2024/2025 season.

Loyal fans of 1. FC Köln will have to pay €9 for a standing-room-only day ticket. Members of the former German champions will be granted a discount of 13 euros.

3rd FC Schalke 04

The price for FC Schalke 04 fans, on the other hand, has not changed. They will pay €190.50 in the 2024/2025 season, the same as last season.

The price for a day ticket in the standing area is 9 euros. As with Greuther Fürth, members of FC Schalke 04 will not receive a discount.

4th SV Darmstadt 98

Fans of relegated SV Darmstadt 98 can look forward to a substantial price reduction. Standing-room season tickets will cost €61 less this season, bringing the total price to €195.

Spectators will have to pay 9.50 euros for a day ticket in the standing area segment. Members receive a discount of 26 euros from the club management.

5th Fortuna Düsseldorf

Last season, Fortuna Düsseldorf missed out on promotion to the 1st division in the relegation play-offs and enjoyed strong support from the fans throughout the season. In order for fans to get a standing-room season ticket in the 2024/2025 season, they will have to pay €195. The club increased the ticket price by 35 euros.

The day ticket in the standing area costs fans 9.50 euros. Members can look forward to a discount of 15 euros on the season ticket.

6th 1. FC Nuremberg

FC Nuremberg is the first team to exceed the 200 euro mark, as the standing area season ticket costs 209 euros. Compared to last season, this is a price increase of 19 euros.

Fans of the “Clubberer” will have to pay 10 euros for a standing-room day ticket. Members are granted a discount of 23 euros by 1. FC Nürnberg.

7th Jahn Regensburg

SSV Jahn Regensburg fans will only pay €1 more for their season ticket, as the club has increased the price by €9 for the 2024/2025 season. Fans will have to pay 210 euros for the standing-room season ticket.

The price of a day ticket for the standing area is €10.50. Jahn Regensburg members will have to do without a discount.

8th SV Elversberg

Those responsible at SV Elversberg have decided not to increase the price of standing-room season tickets for the 2024/2025 season. Fans will once again have to pay 210 euros for such a ticket this year.

The cost of a standing-room only day ticket will be €10.50. Members in Elversberg have a reason to be happy, as they will receive a discount of 70 euros when purchasing a season ticket, the biggest saving in the league.

9th Preußen Münster

In Münster, fans can look forward to a price reduction on standing-room season tickets. The price has been reduced by 7 euros to 218 euros.

For a day trip to the standing area, Preußen Münster fans will have to pay 11 euros. Club members receive a discount of 38 euros.

10th 1. FC Kaiserslautern

The price of the standing area season ticket for the “Betzenberg” has not changed compared to the previous season. Fans of 1. FC Kaiserslautern have to pay 220 euros for such a ticket.

A day ticket for a standing area costs 11.50 euros. The club does not grant members a membership discount.

11th Eintracht Braunschweig

At Eintracht Braunschweig, a season ticket in the standing area costs 225 euros. Compared to the previous season, this corresponds to an increase of 16 euros.

A day ticket in the standing area costs 12 euros at Eintracht Braunschweig. For members, the club offers a discount of 11.25 euros when purchasing a season ticket.

12th 1. FC Magdeburg

With a season ticket price of 228 euros, 1. FC Magdeburg is in 12th place in the ticket ranking. The club is foregoing a price increase for the 2024/2025 season.

Fans of 1. FC Magdeburg will have to pay €12.50 for a day ticket in the standing area. Club members can look forward to a discount of 51 euros when purchasing a season ticket.

13th Hertha BSC Berlin

The self-proclaimed “big city club” from Berlin charges a price of 229 euros for a standing-room season ticket. This means that Hertha BSC Berlin fans will pay €30 more than in the previous season.

A day ticket for the standing area will cost fans 12.50 euros. The club is offering members a discount of 51 euros when purchasing a season ticket.

14th SC Karlsruhe

Those responsible at Karlsruher SC increased the price of a standing-room season ticket by 21 euros. The traditional club from Baden landed in 14th place in the ticket ranking with a price of 231 euros.

A day ticket in the standing room segment costs the fans of Karlsruher SC 13 euros. The club does not grant members a discount when purchasing a season ticket.

15th Hamburger SV

The stadium in Hamburg is sold out week after week. Fans pay 238 euros for a standing-room season ticket. The club has decided not to increase prices for the 2024/2025 season.

HSV fans will have to pay €13.50 to get hold of a day ticket in the standing area. Members do not receive a discount when purchasing a season ticket.

16th SSV Ulm

The promoted team from Ulm is at the bottom of the ticket ranking. A standing-room season ticket costs 240 euros. This means that SSV Ulm fans pay €20 more than last season.

The day ticket price for the standing room segment in the Donaustadion is 14 euros. Members of SSV can look forward to a discount of 70 euros when purchasing a season ticket. Together with the members of SV Elversberg, they save the most.

17th Hannover 96

In the 2024/2025 season, Hannover fans will pay 240 euros for a standing-room season ticket. The club is increasing the price of this ticket by €47 compared to last season.

For Hannover 96 fans, a day ticket for the standing area will cost €14. Members of the club are granted a discount of 36 euros when purchasing a season ticket.

18th SC Paderborn

At the bottom of the ticket rankings is SC Paderborn. At 255.75 euros, Paderborn fans pay the most for a standing-room season ticket. The club increased the price by 38.50 euros compared to the previous season.

The day ticket is also the most expensive in Paderborn. In the standing room segment, this ticket costs 15 euros. Paderborn members do not receive a discount when purchasing a season ticket.
