With over 54,000 seats, Borussia Park is one of the larger stadiums in the German Bundesliga. The 16,145 standing places are particularly impressive and guarantee a great atmosphere at home matches. Alternatively, you can also watch home matches at Borussia Mönchengladbach Stadium from the comfort of one of the 37,869 seats.
The AOK family block is located in the upper tier of Borussia Park for young fans and grown-up companions. A maximum of two adults per child can purchase a ticket for this area. There is also a strict smoking ban in the sectors, which has now been extended to the entire upper tier of the south stand.
The guest sector at Borussia Mönchengladbach Stadion is located in the curve between the south and west stands, while the north stand is reserved for all fans of the “Foals”. In the entire North Stand, you must expect visibility restrictions due to banners, flags and choreographies.

If you would like to find out more about Borussia Park, you can take a guided tour of the arena. These tours are organised directly by the club and can be booked on the Borussia Mönchengladbach website. The tours are not only offered in German, but also in English and Dutch.
Public tours take place five times a week. On Saturday and Sunday there is a tour in the morning as well as a guided tour in the afternoon. The guided tours through Borussia Park usually last 90 minutes. The meeting point for the tours is 15 minutes before the start at the FohlenWelt ticket office.
A ticket for adults costs 10 euros, children up to the age of 5 can take part free of charge. You can experience the dressing rooms, press rooms and the players’ tunnel up close. For even more soccer action, you can also combine a home match with a tour of the stadium in Mönchengladbach. On match days, the tour takes place around 4 hours before kick-off.
This gives you the opportunity to get up close to the professionals and put yourself in the players’ shoes. Alternatively, fans can also opt for a combined ticket, which allows access to the club museum in addition to the stadium tour at Borussia Park.
Concerts and events are also regularly organised at the Gladbach Stadium when there is no footballing atmosphere. However, tickets are not sold through the football club.

The stadium at Borussia-Park opens its gates two hours before kick-off on home match days. Admission is possible with a printed or mobile ticket. The admission gates are also equipped with an NFC function. Large bags and rucksacks may not be taken into the stands.
With the construction of Borussia Park, all fans with disabilities now also get their money’s worth. There are two areas in the stadium for wheelchair users. Barrier-free seats are available in the North Curve behind Block 19 and in the South Curve behind Block 1.
There is also a special offer for visually impaired fans at Borussia Mönchengladbach Stadion. With their own live commentary and comfortable headphones, they can follow the match in real time and directly from the stadium.
Tickets for people with disabilities can be purchased for individual match days or in the form of a season ticket. For this, an enquiry must be submitted in advance by e-mail. It is currently not possible to purchase tickets via the online shop.
VIP tickets for the Gladbach stadium
With a VIP ticket for Borussia Park, you can make match days unforgettable. Because you can expect more than just pure soccer action at the Bundesliga home matches. Your physical well-being and entertainment after the final whistle are also taken care of.
- VIP Club 1900: The hospitality area impresses with its modern interior design and Borussia ambience. Your seats are located in the west upper tier in blocks 21 to 23, from where you have a top view of the action. Food and drinks are of course included in the price and can also be taken into the stands.
- VIP lounge: This hospitality area combines exclusive flair with a sports bar ambience. Here you can enjoy freshly tapped beer, delicious food and various matchday specials. Your outdoor seats are located in the West lower tier of the VIP stand.
In addition to the hospitality areas, 45 boxes for 24 or 32 people are also available. You enter the Borussia Mönchengladbach stadium through a separate VIP entrance and are guided directly to your area by a hostess service.
You can expect a selection of food from the buffet with starters, main courses and desserts as well as snacks and a comprehensive drinks menu. Of course, you also have access to the VIP lounge, the FohlenSportsbar and the “Büchsenwurf”. Prices for a box are only available on request.
Interesting facts about Borussia Park
Borussia Park is one of the most modern stadiums in the Bundesliga and was only opened on 30 July 2004. Since then, the Borussia Mönchengladbach stadium has only matched Bundesliga matches, as the “Foals” have never had to play in the 2. Bundesliga at their new home.
The stadium seats a total of 54,042 spectators. All stands are covered and promise a pleasant atmosphere even in rain and snow. For international matches, the capacity is reduced to 46,311 spectators, as the standing room has to be converted into seats.
During the construction phase, fans were also able to secure the so-called Fan Stone. With around 6,000 sold, a diamond was built behind the north curve. There is also a sports bar directly in the stadium, which is open on match days. You can also go underground from the stadium directly to the Borussia 8-Grad. The building on the site also houses a hotel and the club museum.
In 2011, Borussia Park hosted the women’s soccer World Cup, among other events. However, Borussia Park will not be used for the 2006 World Cup or the 2024 European Championship in Germany. There is also always something going on in the stadium outside of soccer. Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and Herbert Grönemeyer, among others, have performed here.
How to get to Borussia Park

As Borussia Park is located just outside the city, there is no need to expect traffic chaos on match days. The stadium can be reached via the A61 motorway and then via the B57. There are around 11,000 parking spaces available around the Borussia Mönchengladbach stadium. This means that fans cannot travel to home matches in their own car.
A parking ticket costs between 7 and 10 euros, depending on the car park. VIP guests, wheelchair users and coaches have their own parking spaces as close as possible to the stadium. A stress-free journey by public transport is particularly recommended, as the ticket for the home match entitles the holder to use public transport in the VRR and AVV areas.
From Mönchengladbach main station, you can travel directly to the stadium from three hours before kick-off with our own shuttle buses. There are also shuttle buses from Rheydt main station and Künkelstraße to Borussia Park.
