If you are looking for Galatasaray Istanbul tickets for the first time, you will quickly become suspicious. Unlike in most football leagues, you can’t buy tickets through the club itself. The Turkish Football Association introduced a higher-level primary market for the 2013/14 season. Your Galatasaray Istanbul tickets are only available via “Passolig“. This third-party provider is the official primary market.
If a Gala match is sold out, you will not be able to purchase tickets via the primary market. However, there is still a chance that you can get tickets. Galatasaray tickets can also be purchased on the secondary market. Fans can resell their tickets to other fans. The official secondary market also runs via “Passolig”.
We recommend that you always search for Galatasaray tickets on the primary market first. You don’t have to visit the club’s website to do this, but register for the Passolig card. This is possible on the official homepage. To avoid language barriers, you can also apply for your ticket on the German Passolig website.
A Passolig card costs around 20 euros once, but is not yet a ticket. The Galatasaray Istanbul ticket must be purchased separately and will then be added to your Passolig card. It can take around 30 days for the card to arrive at your home. Timely registration is therefore essential if you want to buy Galatasaray Istanbul tickets for the first time.
If you are currently in Istanbul and want to watch a Galatasaray Istanbul match, you do not need a Passolig card. You can get a one-off ticket outside the stadium at an official Passolig stand. You must show a passport or valid ID card when purchasing a ticket.

In addition to the primary market, there is also an official secondary market via “Passolig”. This not only regulates the resale of Galatasaray Istanbul tickets, but also applies to all clubs in the Super Lig. You can use this official secondary market without hesitation. However, there is only limited price regulation. Sellers can set the price of a ticket individually. This often leads to overpriced sales offers at top matches with high demand.
If you would like to attend a sold-out Galatasaray Istanbul home match and are looking around on the secondary market, you should always exercise caution. When buying tickets, you should only use the official provider. Offers on social media or various sales platforms, on the other hand, are not advisable.
We work with the following providers on the secondary market:
If you want to cheer on your favourite team live in the stadium during your stay in Istanbul, a day ticket is the best choice. You can choose between nine different ticket categories. The more expensive the Galatasaray tickets, the better the view, of course.
At RAMS Park, you can only opt for seated tickets. Standing tickets are not available. In addition, three quarters of the available tickets have already been allocated to season ticket holders. So if you want to buy Galatasaray Istanbul tickets, you need to be ready in time for the start of sales.
If you are a true Galatasaray Istanbul fan who is often in Turkey, a season ticket is also worthwhile. This ensures you have a fixed seat in the stadium and can watch all of the team’s home matches. Whether in the Süper Lig or internationally – the rush at the start of the season is always huge. The season ticket for Galatasaray can also only be applied for via “Passolig”.
For families, 1,500 tickets are reserved per match. This gives children the opportunity to enjoy a completely personalised football experience together with an accompanying person. The family sector is located in the “Northeast Stand” of the stadium. Discounts are available on both season tickets and individual tickets in this sector.
Galatasaray Istanbul tickets cost between 35 and 155 euros. The prices do not change depending on the opponent. The same price is charged for a top match as against a relegation candidate. The price of a ticket is determined by the seat. Prices in the lower tier are generally more expensive than in the upper tier. In total, you can choose between nine price categories.
A ticket in the upper tier costs between 35 and 45 euros. Cheap tickets are also available in the north and south stands. A seat behind the goals will only cost €39 in the 2025/26 season. Your Galatasaray Istanbul ticket will be significantly more expensive in the West and East Stands. Here you have the best view of the action on the pitch. Prices here start at 120 euros and go up to 155 euros.
There is no longer a price overview for season tickets for the current season. Based on experience, it can generally be said that a season ticket is only worthwhile for 12 or more visits to the stadium. Of course, the season ticket is also your ticket to experience every top match in the Süper Lig and the international matches of Galatasaray Istanbul.
There is a pre-sale for every Galatasaray Istanbul match. This usually only starts a few days before the match day. The pre-sale is handled entirely via “Passolig”. You must have a Passolig ticket in advance so that you can take part in the pre-sale in good time. The sale is protected in the first round. Then only club members and season ticket holders can purchase tickets. In the second stage, all Gala fans will have access to the remaining tickets.
However, you can also take part in a pre-sale much earlier via the Passolig secondary market. Season ticket holders can convert their tickets into individual tickets weeks or months in advance. You can then purchase tickets via the secondary market even though the official pre-sale has not yet started. The problem with this is that the prices are often higher than the cost of a regular ticket.
RAMS Park is the stadium with the largest VIP area in the whole of Turkey. A special football experience is guaranteed in the 198 boxes and around 4,500 VIP seats. There are separate VIP entrances for all VIP guests, lavish buffets and dedicated car parks right next to the stadium. Tickets for a business seat cost between 300 and 400 euros.
If you are looking for Galatasaray Istanbul tickets with lounge access, these must be requested via “Passolig”. There is no price information available in advance. There is also little information available about the individual lounges. So the proof of the pudding is in the eating. You are guaranteed not to be disappointed by the unique hospitality experience.
No other team has won the Turkish Cup as often as Galatasaray Istanbul. However, the last title was won four years ago. All fans are therefore eagerly awaiting another cup win. Gala is still in the competition this season and has a good chance of advancing to the final.
So you still have the chance to secure Galatasaray tickets for the Türkiye Kubasi. Carry the team into the next round with 50,000 other fans and experience football at its best. As usual, you can purchase tickets for the Turkish Cup via “Passolig”.
Galatasaray Istanbul regularly plays in the Champions League and has already reached the quarter-finals of the top flight twice. The team was also among the best teams in Europe this season. In addition to the goosebump atmosphere in the stadium, the victory against Manchester United was clearly the highlight of the international season.
Last season, the team was also narrowly beaten by FC Barcelona in the Europa League. If you don’t want to miss out on such top matches, you can find the right Galatasaray Istanbul tickets via “Passolig”. Then you’ll be there when the Champions League anthem sounds at RAMS Park and Gala welcomes its opponents to the red hell.
There are over 100 seats available at RAMS Park for people with disabilities. These tickets can only be purchased with a Passolig card. The details will then be checked. After successful verification, the contingent for these tickets can be accessed directly on the sidelines. It is not possible to see in advance whether these tickets are available free of charge or what prices will be charged.

With more than 52,000 seats, RAMS Park is the second largest football stadium in the Süper Lig. The stadium was only opened in 2011 and is one of the most modern football arenas in Turkey. The photovoltaic system on the roof has also made it into the Guinness Book of Records.
Of course, we will also show you how to get to RAMS Park during a Galatasaray Istanbul home match:
In the hustle and bustle of Istanbul’s traffic, we can only advise against making your way to the stadium in your own car. Travelling by public transport is much cheaper. From Istanbul International Airport, take the M11 metro line to Kağıthane. From there, bus line 50D goes directly to the stadium. From Sirkeci station, take the T1 line to Fındıklı. From there, various bus lines will take you to the stadium.
Galatasaray’s traditional home colours are yellow and red. The players wear yellow shirts and red trousers.
Galatasaray’s most intense rivalries are with Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş. These matches are regarded as “intercontinental derbies” and are associated with great rivalry and tension.
“Cim Bom” is the nickname of Galatasaray and literally means “turf bomb”. This nickname reflects the club’s explosive style of play and success.
Galatasaray Istanbul is actively involved in social projects and community initiatives. The club promotes education, health and other social issues in Turkey.
